HALL COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING JULY 7, 2020 <br /> The Hall County Board of Commissioners convened July 7, 2020 by published call in <br /> the County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine Street, Grand Island NE. <br /> CALL TO ORDER- The meeting was called to order by Pam Lancaster <br /> INVOCATION was given by Ron Peterson. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL-Present on roll call were Karen Bredthauer, Richard Hartman, Butch Hurst, <br /> Pam Lancaster, Gary Quandt, Ron Peterson and Jane Richardson. Also present were <br /> Sarah Carstensen, Deputy County Attorney and board assistant Kim Dugan and <br /> County Attorney Martin Klein. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW- Chair Lancaster read the notice of open meeting <br /> law. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME —Chair Lancaster called for anyone from the audience <br /> had requested to reserve time. Non response. <br /> VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION —The affidavit of publication was received. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA Peterson made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the <br /> following by consent agenda. <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes of the June 9, 2020 meeting <br /> 2. 10 Approved the Building Department interlocal agreement <br /> 3. 12 Accepted the audit committee recommendation to reallocate Equipment & <br /> Improvement Reserves fund of$5,000 for 5 years <br /> 4. 13a approved the purchase of traffic marking paint using the State of Nebraska <br /> contract 147120C <br /> 5. 13b Set the bid opening for the fall asphalt for August 4, 2020 at 9:30 am. with <br /> bids due August 3, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. <br /> 6. 16 Placed on file the Grand Island Public Library quarterly report <br /> 7. 17Approved the Special Designated liquor license for Goodwill Industries for <br /> August 16, 2020 <br /> 8. 18 Approved the Resolution #20-160 for the pledged collateral for Five Points <br /> Bank for Nebraska ST CRFFACS CUSIP #639684EP0 for $500,000.00 <br /> 9. 20 approved the bi weekly pay claims <br /> 10.21 Approved the early claims <br /> 11.22 Placed on file the County Building Inspector office report <br /> 12.23 Placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's miscellaneous receipts <br /> 13.Placed on file the NACO Leadership book <br /> 1 <br />
