She <br /> stated that Bahensky was asking that they be paid in the range as other bookkeepers in <br /> the County and not take effect until July 1, 2020. <br /> Bredthauer made a motion to approve Corrections employee to be paid on range of a <br /> bookkeeper and going in to effect July 1, 2020. Quandt seconded the motion. <br /> Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Quandt, Lancaster, Peterson and Richardson all voted <br /> yes, none voted no. Motion Carried. <br /> 8 (A) RECEIVE AND PLACE ON FILE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENTS QUATERLY <br /> REPORTS- This was pulled for 2 weeks, due to the reports not being in the packet. <br /> Hartman made a motion to pull the public works quarterly report for 2 weeks. Hurst <br /> seconded the motion. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Quandt, Lancaster, Peterson and <br /> Richardson all voted yes, none voted no. Motion Carried. <br /> 8 (B) —DISCUSSION & CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL TO PURCHASE A BUCKET <br /> TRUCK FROM SOUTHERN POWER DISTRICT-Mr. Riehle asked the Board to <br /> consider approving this bucket truck in the amount of $24,650.00. <br /> Richardson made a motion to approve the purchase of the bucket truck from southern <br /> power district in the amount of$24,650.00 Hartman seconded the motion. Bredthauer, <br /> Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes, none voted <br /> no. Motion Carried. <br /> 8 C-DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION APPROVING JOB DESCRIPTIONS FOR <br /> SETTING PAY RANGES- <br /> A. Roads & Bridge Foreman <br /> B. Shop Manager <br /> C. Construction Tech <br /> Mr. Riehle stated that the organizational structure for the public works department is <br /> being flattened with the assistant director position changing to a road and bridge <br /> foreman position. He stated the new road and bridge foreman would supervise the <br /> motor grader route operator, this would provide better communication with the route <br /> operators. Riehle stated it was discussed at a board meeting in August of last year. <br /> In the packet he sent out an organizational chart that has been updated and shows <br /> what the proposed organizational structure would be. He stated it was best to talk <br /> about job descriptions first and the revising of them and then pay ranges second. <br />
