Page I 1 <br /> HALL COUNTY MUSEUM BOARD <br /> The regular meeting of the Hall County Museum Board was held on Tuesday, February 18, <br /> 2020, in the Multi-Purpose Room, of the Edgar&Frances Reynolds Research Center, Stuhr <br /> Museum. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> President Ann Martin called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. <br /> Attending the meeting were Trustees: Mrs. Ann Martin, Mr. Brian Mustion, Mr. Mark Allen, <br /> Mr. Jerry Janulewicz Mr. Don Smith, Mr. Andy Marsh, Ms. Kris Nolan Brown and Mr. Don <br /> Deitemeyer. Ms. Jane Richardson,Hall County Board Commissioner. Foundation: Mrs. Bonnie <br /> Smith, Foundation Executive Director. Museum staff attending the meeting included: Mr. Chris <br /> Hochstetler,Executive Director, Mr. Tom Oshlo, Facility Manager, Mrs. Kay Cynova, <br /> Interpretive Resources Director, Ms. Karen Buettner, Interpretive Resources Administrative <br /> Assistant, Mrs. Linda Condon, Mercantile Manager, Ms. Kari Stofer, Curator, Mr. Robb Nelson, <br /> Curatorial Assistant, Mrs. Lynda Waring-Houser, Guest Services Manager and Mrs. Renae Hunt, <br /> Interim Finance/Personnel/Recorder. Absent: Mrs. Jennifer Worthington. <br /> NEBRASKA OPEN MEETINGS ACT REQUIREMENTS <br /> Mrs. Martin stated as required by law, a copy of the Nebraska Open Meetings Act is available <br /> for members of the public to review during the course of this public meeting. <br /> REQUEST TO ADDRESS THE BOARD <br /> Mrs. Martin asked if anyone wished to address the Board and no one responded. <br /> CONFLICT OF INTEREST ANNOUNCEMENT <br /> Mrs. Martin asked if anyone had a conflict of interest with any of the agenda items. No <br /> conflicts. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Motion to accept the minutes from the January 21, 2020 and the February 4, 2020 Special <br /> meeting was made by Mr. Mustion and seconded by Mr. Deitemeyer. Minutes were approved <br /> and will be filed. <br /> WELCOME NEW DIRETOR <br /> Mrs. Martin was pleased to welcome the new Executive Director, Chris Hochstetler. Mr. <br /> Hochstetler thanked the board for the greetings. This week is his first and will have his first staff <br /> meeting tomorrow. He has goals to make Stuhr the BEST Living History museum in the world. <br /> He believes if you speak something you can speak it into existence. <br /> HALL COUNTY BOARD LIAISON COMMUNICATION <br /> Ms. Richardson stated there was nothing from the County Board meetings that impact the Museum. <br /> FINANCE COMMITTEE REPORT <br /> Discussion of January 2020 Financials <br /> Mr. Janulewicz reviewed the financials. Revenues: Received $47,000 from the Foundation <br /> some was for the windstorm and roof clean up on the grounds. <br />
