If the board wants a copy they can <br /> request it at any time. <br /> 7D) ACCEPT & PLACE ON FILE CASE NO. CI 19-460 PROGRESSION ORDER—this is <br /> regarding a grievance that was filed. <br /> Richardson made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to accept and place on file case number <br /> CI19-460 progression order. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, and Richardson <br /> all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. The rest of the claims were approved. <br /> E) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING FMLA POLICY & NON FMLA POLICY— <br /> Deputy County Attorney Sarah Carstensen stated that the insurance committee had lengthy <br /> meeting and there needs to be a consistent policy I place to address FMLA and Non FMLA and <br /> how to address times when the FMLA leave is exhausted. There are questions from <br /> Department Heads and Elected Officials on how to these issues. There are also concerns on <br /> how sick leave is used and how it is managed. The county needs to be consistent on these <br /> issues. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to authorize Sarah Carstensen to address the <br /> FMLA and None FMLA and appoint a committee. Lancaster stated she will appoint a <br /> committee. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, and Richardson all voted yes and <br /> none voted no. Motion carried <br /> 8. EXECUTIVE SESSION RE: EMPLOYEE REQUEST TO REMAIN ON SICK LEAVE — Quandt <br /> made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to go into executive session. There are 2 reasons for <br /> an executive session to protect the public interest or to prevent needles harm or injury to an <br /> individual. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, and Richardson all voted yes and <br /> none voted no.
