DISCUSS &TAKE ACTION ON TRAVEL & ON SITE TRAINING BY STACEY RUZICKA— <br /> Lancaster stated that Stacey Ruzicka will be back again this year to assist with the budget <br /> process. She will be working with Kim with onsite training June 1 wot June 12 and July 6 to 10. <br /> Last year she had family plans and only requested to pay for part of the air fare. She did not <br /> charge the county for meals for a vehicles to use. Lancaster stated she has sent a copy of the <br /> agreement to Stacey. If the board was to hire a CPA it would cost more. This agreement will <br /> be for an hourly rate and the air fare. <br /> Richardson as if this was going to be an ongoing agreement. <br /> Lancaster stated she discussed this with Brad Fegley and he suggested that I may be 3 to 4 <br /> years. She also stated that when Stacey came back last year she did not work on budget <br /> training because there were a number of other issues that had to be take care of. There was <br /> little to no training last year Kim did the data entry. She also stated that in 2 weeks they will <br /> come back to transfer the major keno responsibilities to Kim. <br /> Hurst questioned if Stacey does not want to do this what would the county do? Lancaster <br /> stated the county would have to hire a CPA and it would cost more. Stacey was here for 19 <br /> years and there is lot more than putting numbers together to do the budget. <br /> Bredthauer made a motion and Haartman seconded to approve the travel and onsite training <br /> provided by Stacey Ruzicka. APPROVE AND PLACE ON FILE HALL COUNTY FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> AND INDEPENDENT AUDITORS REPORT JUNE 30, 2019 - Kayla Schulte with Lutz was <br /> present to review the June 30, 2019 Hall County audit. This is an independent auditors report, <br /> there were no significant issues and Hall County uses the cash basis. She noted the receipts <br /> from corrections and the reconciliation between the assessor and the treasurer. <br /> Page 5 addresses the financial highlights and noted that cash is at $28,418,097 this was an <br /> increase of$952,274 or 3.5% <br /> General fund expenditures were $30,612,893 or an increase of 4.5% <br /> Federal program expenditures were $597,740 of a decrease of 41.4% <br /> 5 <br />
