g) UPDATE ON COURTHOUSE WINDOWS Loran stated that the windows should be done by <br /> the end of February ad they will be ready to install. <br /> COMMITTEE OF BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS — Peterson reported that Jeff Reed with the <br /> Board of Realtors reported the housing is low and there are only a 6 month inventory on homes <br /> of$100,000 and homes over $300,000 and above there is a 10 to 12 month inventory. <br /> Bredthauer reported that she attended the Planning Commission meeting and there are plans <br /> for a new nursing home. She also attended the MAAA meeting and the numbers at Senior <br /> Citizens has dropped. <br /> Quandt stated that he has tried to keep the board member informed about the railroad issues <br /> and there is a conference call set for today and he ask Pam and Ron to sit in on the call. There <br /> was not a formal vote to have the county move forward with this issue and take the lead. He did <br /> not get this on the agenda for today but there is another board meeting February 4th. <br /> Lancaster stated that this is a safety issue for school children, police and fire rescue and fire <br /> rescue could be held up also. This is not a small issue it has plagued this community for years. <br /> The fact that there is a hearing with the public services commission is a huge step forward. This <br /> will be on the February 4th agenda. <br /> Hurst ask if the County Attorney will also help. They need to know where the board stands. <br /> Richardson stated that there will be a fund raiser on Valentine's Day for the Humane Society the <br /> tickets are $90.00 a person. <br /> Lancaster noted she would like to see the board agenda's on line and she is working on <br /> cleaning out some of the old board packets. <br /> 18. EXECUTIVE SESSION — EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS FOR JANUARY - <br /> Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to go into executive session regarding an <br /> employee evaluation. Lancaster stated there are 2 reasons for an executive session to protect <br /> the public interest and to prevent needless harm or injury to an individual. Bredthauer, <br /> Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 12:18 p.m. executive session <br /> 12:22 p.m. Peterson made a motion and Quandt Seconded to go out of executive session. <br /> Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and <br /> none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Peterson seconded to present the evaluation to the employee. <br /> Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and <br /> none voted no.
