DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING CONTRACT FOR APPRAISAL <br /> SERVICES FROM STANARD APPRAISAL SERVICES - County Assessor Kristi Wold was <br /> present and the board had copies of the proposed agreement. Sarah Carstensen has reviewed <br /> the agreement. Kristi stated that once the agreement is signed she will send it to the state to be <br /> approved and then they will be ready to start the project. <br /> Sarah noted the completion date on page 4 but they will start on the income producing <br /> properties these need to be addressed quickly to address the valuation and the tax dollars. <br /> They guarantee that part will be done before January 2020. Kristi stated they will print the <br /> property cards and the agreement stated they would have some office space to work in. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to authorize the Chair to sin the agreement. <br /> Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and <br /> none voted no. Motion carried <br /> 15. COUNTY TREASURER—A) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION APPROVING THE <br /> RESOLUTION TO ORDER HALL COUNTY ATTORNEY TO START FORECLOSURE OF <br /> COUNTY TAX SALES — Bredthauer questioned some of the description on these properties she <br /> stated it appears that some of them are small pieces or possibly easements and if they are even <br /> usable properties.. <br /> Sarah Carstensen stated that if the taxes are not paid then it becomes the property of the <br /> County. They have to go through the process and it has to be sold if it is not connected to a <br /> current property owner. <br /> Quandt expressed concern that the county would own a piece of property that we cannot do <br /> anything with. <br /> Sarah stated that she will check the state statutes to see if the county has to take them. <br /> Bredthauer made a motion and Richardson seconded to Approve Resolution #19-152 To order <br /> the Hall County Attorney to start foreclosure of county tax sales. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, <br /> Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried <br /> 9 <br />
