The size of the counties <br /> seems to affect to costs and some only issue one permit as long as the business is there. <br /> Chad Nabity was present and noted the information from the other counties. There is a <br /> difference in the size of the counties and he noted the costs and some do annual inspections. It <br /> will be up to the county board. Mr. Peterson sent an e mail suggesting raising the fees to <br /> $150.00 per year but he did not receive the information regarding the fees from other counties. <br /> Hurst stated that if the permits are a 5, 10 or 20 year permits they should be charged so much <br /> per year. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Hurst seconded setting it at $100.00 a year, if it is a 7 year permit it <br /> would be $700.00 with a $500.00 minimum. You do not want to increase the cost so people will <br /> not build. Discussion was held. <br /> This is not raising the fee it is sitting the fee. Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt and <br /> Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Bredthauer and Peterson were absent. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> D) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION ON LANDSCAPE TREES FOR ADMINISTRATION <br /> PARKING LOTS — Mr. Humphrey stated that he is proposing planting 14 trees and 3 or 4 <br /> bushes he has a plan drawn up. Quandt stated that there are some issues with the concrete in <br /> the parking lot and also a problem with the island. <br /> E) UPDATE ON HALL COUNTY PARK - Mr. Humphrey noted that there is a ranking on <br /> campsites in the state of Nebraska and Hall County Park in in the top ten. The park received a <br /> 4.5 rating out of 5. Even with the park being closed because of the flooding. They received <br /> comments about the flowers and the restrooms are clean. He wanted to pass this on to the <br /> county board. <br /> Quandt asked if it was still flooding and Loran stated that the water was down but the Wood <br /> River is flooding again. <br /> 8. COUNTY ATTORNEY —A) EXECUTIVE SESSION REGARDING LITIGATION ON <br /> GREGORY BARTUNEK CLAIM & PABLO SUASTEGUI VEGA <br /> 8 B. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON BARTUNEK CLAIM & PABLO SUASTEGUI <br /> VEGA CLAIM - Quandt made a motion and Richardson seconded to go into executive session. <br /> There are 2 reasons for an executive session to prevent needles harm or injury to an individual <br /> or to protect the public interest. Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt and Richardson all voted <br /> yes and none voted no. Bredthauer and Peterson were absent. Motion carried. <br /> 12:37 p.m. executive session <br /> 12:48 p.m. Quandt made a motion and Richardson seconded to go out of executive session. <br /> Lancaster stated no other subjects were discussed no votes were taken and no action was <br /> taken. Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. <br /> Bredthauer and Peterson were absent. Motion carried. <br /> 18. COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER REPORTS Lancaster attended the health department <br /> meeting and they received good information regarding the number of people affected by <br />
