Bredthauer, <br /> Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 11:43 a.m. Executive session regarding health insurance <br /> 11:55 a.m. went out of executive session regarding health insurance <br /> 11:56 a.m. executive session regarding personnel <br /> 12:18 a.m. Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to go out of executive session. <br /> Lancaster stated that no other subjects were discussed no votes were taken and no action was <br /> taken. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes <br /> and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 15. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING HEALTH INSURANCE <br /> EXCLUSIONS - Peterson made a motion and Quandt seconded that upon review and <br /> discussion of certain group health plan claims in the context of behavioral exclusion, the <br /> insurance Committee recommends the Board authorize payment based on facts and <br /> circumstances related to these claims. Understanding the situation is not definitive, the group <br /> health plan accepts the potential these claim payments may be considered a Plan exception <br /> and reimbursable under the reinsurance contract. Bredthauer, Hartman, Lancaster, Quandt <br /> Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and Hurst voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 17. DISCUSSION REGARDING COUNTY BOARD ASSISTANT - Quandt made a motion and <br /> Peterson seconded to extend an offer to Kim Dugan for the Hall County Board Assistant <br /> positon. With a starting wage of$48,000.00 with a $2,000.00 increase of $2,000.00 after 6 <br /> months with a favorable job performance and start as soon as possible. Bredthauer, Lancaster, <br /> Quandt and Peterson all voted yes and Hartman, Hurst and Richardson voted no. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> 25 DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING JAKE BREAKING IN HALL COUNTY— <br /> Quandt noted a situation when he and Mike Ponte were at the Veterans Park and a semi was <br /> coming in and hit the jake breaks and they could not even continue their conversation. He <br /> stated that with all of the semis coming into town this needs to be addressed. <br /> County Sheriff Rick Conrad stated that they use the resolutions that were set by the county. He <br /> provided information to the board. The county would have to set the areas where they are not <br /> to be used. They can fine up to $100.00 and they can write the tickets. He said if there are <br /> complaints he can respond to the complaints. <br /> Discussion was held on the amount of the fines. Sheriff Conrad will work with Sarah <br /> Carstensen regarding this issue. Lancaster thanked them for bringing this forward. <br /> COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER REPORTS — Lancaster stated that the insurance <br /> committee will meet this afternoon regarding the renewal. <br /> Bredthauer stated that she attended the extension board meeting and encouraged having kids <br /> attend the Kids College this summer. She also noted that CCC has had an increase in <br /> attendance. The students re using CCC more for the general education classes. <br /> 8 <br />
