He questioned if it would be feasible to send letters to the <br /> neighbors. Discussion was held to send letters to the people who bid the last time. <br /> Steve Riehle noted that when the Department of Roads advertises for public hearings, they <br /> struggle sending out letters to individuals. It is a problem if you miss some one. The board <br /> agreed to send letters to the previous bidders. Steve will provide that information to the County <br /> Clerk. <br /> 6. DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING RESOLUTION FOR SURPLUS ITEMS <br /> AT WEED CONTROL AUTHORITY—Weed Superintendent Rob Schultz stated that the Weed <br /> Control Authority Board met yesterday and he distributed a list of additional equipment that <br /> could be declared surplus. Once this is completed he will contact Big Iron to have the items <br /> listed for sale. Then the space will be ready July 1st to move. <br /> Quandt questioned if he had checked with other departments regarding the equipment. Rob <br /> stated that the Parks Department is interested in the 4 wheeler and the Dodge truck. They <br /> could use the truck. It currently has spraying equipment on it. <br /> Hartman stated he wants to see it sold and if there is a need for a truck they can get it later. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Hartman seconded to declare the property as surplus and approve <br /> Resolution #19-037 with the attached list of the surplus property. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, <br /> Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 3 <br />
