Peterson suggested to come back in 2 weeks with a plan and to contact the other boards. <br /> Bredthauer suggested that it could be put on the web site that there is a vacancy on any of the <br /> boards and they may get more applicants. Lancaster stated that they have a good relationship <br /> with Doug and he can put anything on the website. <br /> Ray noted that there is a vacancy on the CVB Board now. <br /> Lancaster stated she will contact Brad Mellema about the applications and if there is a process <br /> decided it will be the same for all boards. <br /> 9.11:00 AM DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING HALL COUNTY EXTENSION <br /> PRESENTATION BY D'ETTE SCHOLTZ— D'Ette Scholtz with the Extension Office was present <br /> she is requesting approval for a 4H assistant that is a county employee to apply for the <br /> promotion process to become an extension assistant. There is a promotion committee and UNL <br /> will facilitate the process. The individual has to have a 5 year strong work performance, a letter <br /> of support, and a summary of their accomplishments. There are several steps they go through <br /> the committee and the district director will make the determination. They would change their <br /> title and be awarded a 10% increase in pay. She is asking for approval of the employee to go <br /> through the promotion process. This would be for the 2020 2021 budget year. <br /> Bredthauer made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the county employee to go <br /> through the exertion assistant promotion process. <br /> Peterson ask what kind of increase this would be and D'Ette stated it would be $4,500.00. <br /> Lancaster this would be a life time opportunity. <br /> The vote on the motion was taken. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt and <br /> Peterson all voted yes and none voted no. Richardson was absent. Motion carried <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION Chair Lancaster called for public participation and no one responded. <br /> 4 COUNTY ATTORNEY — a) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION ON CONDITIONAL USE <br /> PERMIT RESOLUTION —AMERICAN TOWER RESCINDING INCORRECT LEGAL <br /> DESCRIPTION & PUTTING IN CORRECT LEGAL DESCRIPTION Deputy County Attorney <br /> Sarah Carstensen stated that there were 2 resolutions and the first one had the wrong legal <br /> description on it so it needs to be rescinded. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to approve Resolution #19-035 correcting the <br /> legal description for the American Tower Conditional Use permit. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, <br /> Lancaster, Quandt and Peterson all voted yes and none voted no. Richardson was absent. <br /> Motion carried <br /> 7 <br />
