DISCUSS & TAKE ACTION ON MOVING FORWARD WITH HIRING AN ASSISTANT TO <br /> THE HALL COUNTY BOARD — Lancaster stated she passed out information earlier for a <br /> potential ad to be placed for the board assistant position. She worked with Stacey Ruzicka on a <br /> new job description. There would be a fiscal consultant and they would also need someone to <br /> do the data entry. That person would serve as an assistant to the County Board. And in time <br /> be the NIRMA contact person. County Clerk Marla Conley has been a secondary NIRMA <br /> contact person. In time they could become the keno administrator. Stacey stated someone <br /> with an accounting background could handle the keno work. Also need someone here to sign <br /> the documents. <br /> Lancaster ask if the board would like to review this job description and come back in two weeks. <br /> She looked at some other county job descriptions and suggested looking at Range 16 and work <br /> 40 hours a week. It would be at about $43,617.00 to $50,564.00 at $20.97 to $24.31. <br /> There are a lot of people who work remotely and this would not be a temporary position. Stacey <br /> would receive $50.00 an hour. A CPA would cost more. <br /> Richardson ask if she knows how many hours it would be she is just looking at the numbers. <br /> Lancaster stated they do not know how many hours that would be. Jane ask about the outside <br /> consultant. We have Brad Fegley and Lancaster stated that will not change. The new person <br /> would do the data entry. The budget would be split into parts fiscal consultant and data entry. <br /> This will be addressed in 2 weeks. <br /> 17. DISCUSS & TAKE ACTION ON TRAVEL & OFFICE MANAGEMENT EXPENSE FOR <br /> STACEY RUZICKA - Stacey needs to find some paper work and she will be coming back at the <br /> end of the month for a family event so Lancaster suggested that the county pay half of her air <br /> flight. Stacey can borrow a car and there would be no room and board. It would be about <br /> $220.00 and at $50.00 an hour for 3 or 4 days. She will come back to the office to find the <br /> paperwork she needs. <br /> Hartman made a motion and Quandt seconded to pay for half of Stacey Ruzicka's travel <br /> expenses and $50.00 an hour for office management.
