DISCUSS & TAKE ACTION ON MOVING FORWARD WITH HIRING AN ASSISTANT TO THE HALL COUNTY BOARD — Lancaster stated she passed out information earlier for a potential ad to be placed for the board assistant position. She worked with Stacey Ruzicka on a new job description. There would be a fiscal consultant and they would also need someone to do the data entry. That person would serve as an assistant to the County Board. And in time be the NIRMA contact person. County Clerk Marla Conley has been a secondary NIRMA contact person. In time they could become the keno administrator. Stacey stated someone with an accounting background could handle the keno work. Also need someone here to sign the documents. Lancaster ask if the board would like to review this job description and come back in two weeks. She looked at some other county job descriptions and suggested looking at Range 16 and work 40 hours a week. It would be at about $43,617.00 to $50,564.00 at $20.97 to $24.31. There are a lot of people who work remotely and this would not be a temporary position. Stacey would receive $50.00 an hour. A CPA would cost more. Richardson ask if she knows how many hours it would be she is just looking at the numbers. Lancaster stated they do not know how many hours that would be. Jane ask about the outside consultant. We have Brad Fegley and Lancaster stated that will not change. The new person would do the data entry. The budget would be split into parts fiscal consultant and data entry. This will be addressed in 2 weeks. 17. DISCUSS & TAKE ACTION ON TRAVEL & OFFICE MANAGEMENT EXPENSE FOR STACEY RUZICKA - Stacey needs to find some paper work and she will be coming back at the end of the month for a family event so Lancaster suggested that the county pay half of her air flight. Stacey can borrow a car and there would be no room and board. It would be about $220.00 and at $50.00 an hour for 3 or 4 days. She will come back to the office to find the paperwork she needs. Hartman made a motion and Quandt seconded to pay for half of Stacey Ruzicka's travel expenses and $50.00 an hour for office management. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Peterson Quandt and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried OPEN BID ON THE CARPET —The following bid was received from Carpet plus. The total bid was for carpet and glue for $5,576.84 Quandt made a motion and Hartman seconded to refer the bids to Building & Grounds.
