ANNUAL RENEWAL FOR MOTOR VEHICLE EXEMPTION APPLICATIONS <br /> FOR <br /> c) IGLESIA DE DIOS EBENEZER FOR A 2009 CHEVROLET <br /> EXEMPTION PERIOD JANUARY 2017 TO JANUARY 2018 <br /> d) GRAND ISLAND AREA HABITAT FOR HUMANITY FOR A 2014 HYUNDAI <br /> EXEMPTION PERIOD JANUARY 2017 TO JANUARY 2018 <br /> County Treasurer Peg Pesek stated these are now exemption applications for the <br /> annual renewal for January 2017 to January 2018. Iglesia de dios Ebenezer, 502 E. <br /> Capital Avenue, Grand Island, for a 2009 Chevrolet passenger van to be used to <br /> transport people to and from church and retreats. She has approved this exemption <br /> application as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202. <br /> Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity, 502 W Second Street, Grand Island, for a 2014 <br /> Hyundai coupe this car was donated to be raffled off with proceeds being used for <br /> Habitat's work in the area. It will be driven to locations where raffle ticket will be sold. <br /> She has approved this exemption application as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202. <br /> She is requesting a motion from the County Board to approve. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Lanfear seconded to approve the exemption application for <br /> Iglesia de dios Ebenezer and Habitat for Humanity. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, <br /> Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> 5 .APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR SAINT FRANCIS MEDICAL CENTER <br /> FOR A 2015 DODGE — Ms., Pesek stated that this is from Saint Francis Medical <br /> Center, 2620 W Faidley Avenue, Grand Island, to be used to transport hospital <br /> equipment and patients between buildings, transport cash bags to bank and back and <br /> transport patient food and laundry between buildings. She has approved this <br /> application as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202. <br /> 6 .APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR MID PLAINS CENTER FOR <br /> BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES INC. FOR A 2007 MFG. TRAILER - Ms. <br /> Pesek stated that this is from Mid Plains Center for Behavioral Healthcare Services, 615 <br /> North Elm Street, Grand Island, for a 2007 MFG. trailer to be used to haul goods to the <br /> company and haul goods to the trash. She has approved this exemption application as <br /> per Nebraska State Statute 77-202 and is requesting a motion from the board to <br /> approve. <br /> Lanfear made a motion and Arnold seconded to approve the exemption applications for <br /> St. Francis and Mid Plains Center. Mr. Quandt stated that he does serve on the Mid <br /> Plains board. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br />
