HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING JULY 26, 2016 <br /> 9:10 A.M. Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go into a Board of <br /> Equalization meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Pam Lancaster, Doug Lanfear, <br /> Gary Quandt and Jane Richardson. Dan Purdy and Steve Schuppan were absent. <br /> CALL TO ORDER β€” Chairman Arnold called the Board of Equalization meeting to order. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAWβ€” Chairman Arnold read the notice of open meeting <br /> law. <br /> VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION -Affidavit of publication of publication for the <br /> meeting on file. <br /> MINUTES β€” Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to place on file the <br /> minutes of the July 12, 2016 meeting. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt and <br /> Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Dan Purdy and Steve Schuppan were <br /> absent. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION Chairman Arnold called for public participation and no one <br /> responded. <br /> 3. COUNTY TREASURER β€” DISCUSS & APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATIONS <br /> FOR <br /> a) ST. PAUL'S LUTHERAN CHURCH FOR A 2012 TRAILER - Deputy County <br /> Treasurer Alain Verplank presented the exemption application for St. Paul's Lutheran <br /> Church, 1515 South Harrison, Grand Island for a 2012 H &H trailer to be used to <br /> transport Boy Scout items to camps and functions. <br /> b)MID NEBRASKA INDIVIDUAL SERVICES FOR A 2014 FORD PICKUP Mid <br /> Nebraska Individual services, 2536 Carleton Avenue, Grand Island for a 2014 Ford <br /> pickup to be used for maintenance, repair construction projects and to transport <br /> individuals in our service. <br /> c) GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF GREATER NEBRASKA, FOR A 2015 FORD FUSION <br /> This is for Goodwill Industries of Greater Nebraska, 1804 South Eddy, Grand Island for <br /> a 2015 Ford Fusion to be used for picking up and taking home clients and also used for <br /> support of client activities and training. <br /> She has approved these exemption applications as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202 <br /> and is requesting the county board to approve. <br /> 1 <br />
