Motion carried. <br /> NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS - County Assessor Jan Pelland updated the board on what <br /> she has done this year. She stated that this year it is not showing the growth number, there has <br /> been a lot of growth but some are in TIFF projects and you cannot calculate growth in those <br /> projects. There was also a new law passed regarding the Section 42 housing projects and they <br /> are proposing a formula to use so the Section 42 projects had to be revalued. There is a <br /> significant loss of about$15 million in valuation. She stated that she also did a commercial <br /> review so there may be more commercial protests this year and she also did some other <br /> pockets of changes. She noted that the level of assessment was under 92% for residential, <br /> 94%for commercial and 72% on agricultural. She also stated that there was a 10 page attorney <br /> general's opinion regarding the bills for property tax relief. <br /> Quandt asked if the TIFF would affect the people who have rental property.
