HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING MARCH 22, 2016 <br /> 9:10 a.m. Purdy made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go into a Board of Equalization <br /> meeting. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes <br /> and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> ROLL CALL- Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Pam Lancaster, Doug Lanfear, Dan Purdy, <br /> Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Steve Schuppan. . <br /> CALL TO ORDER— Chairman Arnold called the Board of Equalization meeting to order. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW— Chairman Arnold read the notice of open meeting law. <br /> VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION -Affidavit of publication of publication for the meeting <br /> on file. <br /> MINUTES — Purdy made a motion and Schuppan seconded to place on file the minutes of the <br /> March 8, 2016 meeting. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan <br /> all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION Chairman Arnold called for public participation and no one <br /> responded. <br /> 3 COUNTY ASSESSOR- 9:10 A.M. HEARING ON PERMISSIVE EXEMPTIONS <br /> VERIFIED AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION—Affidavit on file. <br /> Purdy made a motion and Richardson seconded to open the public hearing on permissive <br /> exemptions. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted <br /> yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> County Assessor Jan Pelland distributed the list of the exemptions. This is the annual renewal <br /> and in a year that is divisible by 4 everyone has to submit a new application.
