HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING JULY 28, 2015 <br /> 9:07 a.m. Purdy made a motion and Schuppan seconded to go into a Board of <br /> Equalization meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE — Present on roll call vote were Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, <br /> Doug Lanfear, Daniel Purdy, Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Steve Schuppan. <br /> Also present were County Assessor Jan Pelland and County treasurer Peg Pesek and <br /> Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW — Chairman Arnold read the notice of the open <br /> meeting law. <br /> MINUTES — Purdy made a motion and Richardson seconded to approve the minutes of <br /> the July 14, 2015 meeting. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman Arnold called for public participation and no one <br /> responded. <br /> 1. COUNTY TREASURER - DISCUSS & APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR <br /> GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF GREATER NEBRASKA - County Treasurer Peg Pesek <br /> presented the exemption application for Goodwill Industries for a two 2014 Chevrolet <br /> Malibu cars and a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze to be used for picking up and taking clients <br /> home or training and to support clients activities. She has approved this exemption <br /> application as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202 and is asking for the board to <br /> approve. <br /> Purdy made a motion and Schuppan seconded to approve the exemption application for <br /> Goodwill Industries. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 2 COUNTY ASSESSOR - DISCUSS AND APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION <br /> FOR MID NEBRASKA FOUNDATION INC FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br /> WOODLAND PARK 13TH SUB LOT 8 BLK 2 — County Assessor Jan Pelland presented <br /> the exemption application for Mid Nebraska Foundation Inc. for a home located at <br /> Woodland Park 13th Sub Lot 8 Blk 2, this home will be used to provide training and <br /> housing for developmentally disabled citizens. They are trained and educated in <br /> community living by developing self-care and housekeeping skills. She has approved <br /> this exemption application as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202 and is requesting the <br /> board to approve. <br /> Purdy made a motion and Schuppan seconded to approve the exemption application for <br /> Mid Nebraska Foundation. <br />
