HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING JULY 14. 2015 <br /> 9:05 a.m. Purdy made a motion and Schuppan seconded to go into a Board of <br /> Equalization meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE — Present on roll call vote were Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, <br /> Doug Lanfear, Daniel Purdy, Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Steve Schuppan. <br /> Also present were County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf, Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka and <br /> Deputy County Assessor Barb Stoddard. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW — Chairman Arnold read the notice of the open <br /> meeting law. <br /> MINUTES — Purdy made a motion and Lanfear seconded to approve the minutes of the <br /> June 30, 2015 meeting. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman Arnold called for public participation and no one <br /> responded. <br /> PLACE ON FILE PROPERTY VALUATION PROTESTS # 313 TO #667 - Purdy made a <br /> motion and Schuppan seconded to place on file property valuation protests # 313 to <br /> #667. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted <br /> yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> REJECT PROPERTY VALUATION PROTESTS #668 AND #669 June 30, 2015 <br /> Property valuation protests # 668 and 669 were received and postmarked after the June <br /> 30, 2015 deadline. <br /> Purdy made a motion and Richardson seconded to reject property valuation protest <br /> #668 and #669. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan <br /> all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> COUNTY TREASURER EXEMPTION APPLICATIONS <br /> A) APPROVE APPLICATION FOR EXEMPTION FOR HALL COUNTY C/O SENIOR <br /> CITIZEN INDUSTRIES County Treasurer Peg Pesek was present the is an application <br /> from Senior Citizen Industries, 304 East 3rd, Grand Island for two 2015 buses to be <br /> used to provide public transportation of the elderly, handicapped and general public <br /> within Hall County. She has approved this exemption application as per Nebraska State <br /> Statute 77-202. <br /> B) APPROVE APPLICATION FOR EXEMPTION PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH — This <br /> application is from Peace Lutheran Church, 1710 North Road Grand Island for a 1991 <br /> enclosed trailer to be used to haul equipment and materials used to help members fulfill <br /> our mission. It will be used exclusively for religious purposes. She has approved this <br /> 1 <br />
