HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING MARCH 26, 2013 <br /> 9:05 a.m. Purdy made a motion and Arnold seconded to go into a Board of Equalization <br /> meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE — Present on roll call vote were Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, <br /> Bob McFarland, Daniel Purdy, Gary Quandt, Steve Schuppan and David Ziola. Also <br /> present were Deputy County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf, County Assessor Jan Pelland <br /> Deputy County Treasurer Alaina Verplank and Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW — Chairman Lancaster read the notice of the open <br /> meeting law. <br /> MINUTES —Quandt made a motion and Ziola seconded to approve the minutes of the <br /> March 12, 2013 meeting. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan <br /> and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman Lancaster called for public participation and no <br /> one responded. <br /> COUNTY TREASURER APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR NEBRASKA <br /> STATE FAIR BOARD FOR THREE VEHICLES — Deputy County Treasurer Alaina <br /> Verplank presented the exemption applications for the following: <br /> Good Samaritan Society Grand Island Village, 4075 Timberline Street, Grand Island, <br /> NE for a 2013 Ford bus to be used to transport residents to doctors and other medical <br /> appointments, to and from the hospital, field trips, grocery shopping, sightseeing, <br /> concerts activities and in an emergency to evacuate residents to safety. County <br /> Treasurer Peg Pesek approved the application as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202. <br /> Ministerio Dios Es Amor, 423 West Third Street, Grand Island, NE for a 2007 Toyota <br /> sport van to be used to visit other local and out of state churches. County Treasurer <br /> Peg Pesek approved the application as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202. She is <br /> requesting that the county board approve the applications. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Ziola seconded to approve the exemption applications for <br /> Good Samaritan Society and Ministerio Dios Es Amor. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, <br /> Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 1 <br />
