DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING MID AMERICAN HEALTH <br /> INSURANCE BENEFITS - Lancaster noted that Mid-American will be here in two weeks to <br /> address some concern. She noted the exclusions on page 29 of the plan document that <br /> excludes "crime or criminal act, assault or other felonious behavior could result in an exclusion <br /> from payment of a claim". She noted that this could include the failure to use a seatbelt or a <br /> speeding violation. There was a situation where there was a car accident and the $150,000.00 <br /> claims were denied. She noted that this could be subjective. She would like to have a notice <br /> attached to the paystubs encourage the employees to read the exclusion on pages 29 to 33. <br /> She would like to give Mid-American an opportunity to discuss this. <br /> Richardson questioned if this was in the plan before. Conley noted that this wording was in the <br /> previous plan document from 2011.
