They are steel pipes <br /> and to see the condition of the pipes they would have to tear off the insulation. <br /> Lancaster stated that this needs to be taken care of or it will continue to happen and the <br /> dollars from the jail bond can be used for the infrastructure. These pipes need to be <br /> fixed. <br /> Jeffries stated that even if the pipes are repaired they need to address the long term <br /> repairs. <br /> Lancaster noted that they need to be fixed and they need heat in the buildings. <br /> Jeffries stated that he attended the Regional Planning Commission meeting and Chad <br /> Nabity and Craig Lewis are looking at new regulation for the towers in the city, county <br /> and villages. They have contacted a company that will come in and does the tower <br /> research to determine if new towers are necessary. There will be more requests for <br /> towers in the future so this needs to be addressed. Mr. Nabity will bring this issue to the <br /> county board.
