15. 21 County Office reports none on file <br /> 16. 22 Placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's miscellaneous receipts <br /> 17. 23 Placed on file letter from the Nebraska Department of Roads and e mail regarding <br /> vacancy on the NACO Central District Board <br /> 18. 8 Authorized the Chair to sign the engagement letter with Lutz for keno financial <br /> statement & annual testing for State of Nebraska for 7/1/2018 to 6/30/2019 and for years <br /> 2020 and 2021 <br /> Richardson clarified that item 4b the renewal of the Library services agreement is a 1 year <br /> agreement for the $20,000.00 the same as last year. She also requested to add #8 regarding <br /> the engagement letter with Lutz. This is a 3 year agreement noted that the following increases. <br /> 6/30/2019 6/30/2020 6/30/2021 <br /> F/S quarterly fees $3,140 $3, 270 $3,400 <br /> Annual additional $1,660 $1,730 $1,800 <br /> Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and <br /> none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 9:05 A.M. Held a Board of Equalization meeting. <br /> 9:27 a.m. Adjourned the Board of Equalization meeting and returned to the regular meeting. <br /> Public participation —Chair Richardson called for public participation and no one responded. <br /> 12. DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING SAFETY ASSESSMENT PLAN FOR <br /> HALL COUNTY BUILDINGS BY NIRMA - Bredthauer stated that she attended the "active <br /> shooter training" that was put on by NIRMA, October 1 e. There were over 60 county <br /> employees that also attended. Mr. Terry Baxter with NIRMA is offering to do a safety <br /> assessment for Hall County Building. Bredthauer stated this is a free service to all counties and <br /> if the board is interested we can request to be scheduled for the assessment. The County has a <br /> safety plan but it has not been updated since 2011. This will not affect our insurance rates and <br /> she feels this is an excellent opportunity for the assessment. <br /> Bredthauer made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the request to Terry Baxter with <br /> NIRMA for the safety assessment plan for Hall County Buildings. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, <br /> Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Richardson stated that she cannot see any downside to this. <br /> Lancaster stated that this is a recommendation and we have to look at the recommendation and <br /> see what is possible and affordable. The board makes the decision. She supports making the <br /> county buildings safer. <br /> 7.9:30 A.M. ANNUAL GRAVEL BID OPENING - Lanfear made a motion and Quandt seconded <br /> to open the annual gravel bids. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson <br /> and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no.
