Our current Representative, Mike Anderson from Clay County, lost his election, which will leave one year of a two year term left to be filled. According to our bylaws (see below) only a County Board member can fill this position. While we currently have 3 names that have been submitted for consideration, the Executive Board of the Central District wanted to give every County Board member a chance to consider this opportunity. With that said, we would like to have you forward this email to all of your County Board members and to add it to the agenda of your next County Board meeting. The great thing about stepping into this term, a person would get one year to try out the position to see if it is something they would like to pursue in the future. If you have any interest from one of your County Board members, please let me know as soon as possible. We will need to know by the end of the day, Thursday, November 15th, 2018.
