Opening bids and awarding contracts for gravel <br /> in the fall allows gravel suppliers to perform the work in the late fall, winter, or early <br /> spring when many other customers do not typically purchase material, thus providing <br /> more competitive and lower bid prices to the county. <br /> Discussion <br /> Gravel is a very important part of what we do.
