To Contractor at: <br /> 18. Discrimination Prohibited. Contractor shall not discriminate against any employee or <br /> applicant for employment, to be employed in the performance of this Contract, with respect <br /> to hire, tenure, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment, because of race, color, <br /> religion, sex, disability, or national origin. <br /> 19. Appointment of Purchasing Agent. The Contractor is hereby appointed as the County's <br /> purchasing agents and shall be so recognized for the purpose of altering the status of the <br /> construction contractor as the ultimate consumer of property which is physically annexed to <br /> the structure and which subsequently belongs to the County. The Contractor may apply to <br /> the Nebraska Department of Revenue for a refund of or use as a credit against a future use <br /> tax liability the tax paid on inventory items annexed to real estate as part of the work <br /> provided herein. <br /> 20. Waiver.
