RESOLUTION #18- 0 4. S <br /> A RESOLUTION CLOSING THE HALL COUNTY VETERANS SERVICE OFFICE SOLDIER'S <br /> AND SAILOR'S CHECKING ACCOUNT AT WELLS FARGO BANK, TRANSFERRING THE <br /> BALANCE THEREIN TO THE HALL COUNTY VETERANS SERVICE SOLDIER'S AND <br /> SAILOR'S ACCOUNT AT HOME FEDERAL BANK OF GRAND ISLAND <br /> WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors has the authority to establish a petty <br /> cash fund pursuant to NEB. REV. STAT. 23-106 and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to authority to establish petty cash funds received from the Hall <br /> County Board of Supervisors, the Hall County Veteran's Service Office has established a <br /> Soldier's and Sailors account at Wells Fargo Bank, and <br /> I WHEREAS, the Hall County Veterans Service Office uses this checking account to <br /> assist Veterans and their Dependents with financial assistance on a monthly basis and the <br /> Veterans Service Office makes a monthly deposit into this account according to the County <br /> Policy to deposit funds in a timely manner, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Wells Fargo Bank is not as easily accessible and Wells Fargo Bank has <br /> also charged an audit fee and, there is a locally owned financial institutions located next to the <br /> Hall County Veterans Service Office, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Veterans Service Officer has, in writing, requested authority to close the <br /> Petty Cash Account at Well Fargo Bank and to transfer the balance of said account to the <br /> Soldiers and Sailors account at Home Federal Bank. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hall County Veterans Service office <br /> petty cash account and Wells Fargo be closed and the balance of the petty cash fund at Wells <br /> Fargo be transferred to the Soldiers and Sailors account at Home Federal Bank. <br /> Resolution moved by Supervisor au q '^tAv.SPel3- <br /> Seconded by Supervisor 0 CA f* a k >s <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 4 DAY OF S'e 94. , 2018 <br /> Scott Arnold For ; Against_; Abstained_; Not Present_ <br /> Pamela Lancaster For_; Against_; Abstained ; Not Present_ <br /> Karen Bredthauer For Against_; Abstained Not Present_ <br /> Doug Lanfear For Against_; Abstained Not Present <br /> Gary Quandt For Against_; Abstained Not Present_ <br /> Jane Richardson For Against_; Abstained_ Not Present_ <br /> Steve Schuppan For Against_; Abstained_ Not Present_ <br /> HALL:UNTY B SUPERVISORS <br /> 0 .1---e- en----_____. <br /> n of the Hall _ - . - 37-Board of Supervisors <br /> Marla i.
