• Legislative <br /> Lanfear suggested trying and if it doesn't work they could be reinstated. Dissuasion was held <br /> on the audit committee and personnel. <br /> Arnold noted that the ambulance committee and the co-location committee, safety and the law <br /> enforcement committees would involve other entities and negotiations on costs. He suggested <br /> that these should be retained. <br /> Lanfear stated that they are not eliminating enough of the committees. <br /> Richardson expressed concern that there should always be information in the packets regarding <br /> any agenda item. There needs to be an e mail memo or letter with information on each agenda <br /> item. <br /> Arnold noted the issue with Midland Area Agency on Aging and the Humane Society issue the <br /> information was received right before the meeting. <br /> Elected official can contact the Chair to have items added to the agenda. <br /> Lanfear made a motion and Arnold seconded to retain the committees until October 1, 2018 for <br /> further discussion. Arnold, Lanfear, Richardson and Schuppan voted yes and none voted no. <br /> Bredthauer, Lancaster and Quandt were absent attending the tour. Motion carried. <br /> 17. She stated it was very <br /> educational and a great experience. <br /> No other reports. <br /> NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS —Chair Richardson called for new or unfinished business <br /> and no one responded. <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION PERSONNEL— Lanfear made a motion and Schuppan seconded to go <br /> into executive session regarding personnel. This executive session is to prevent needless harm <br /> or injury to an individual. Arnold, Lanfear, Richardson and Schuppan voted yes and none voted <br /> no. Bredthauer, Lancaster and Quandt were absent attending the tour. Motion carried. <br /> 10 <br />
