9:05 Held a Board of Equalization meeting <br /> 9:16 a. m. Adjourned the Board of Equalization meeting and returned to the regular meeting. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION —Chair Richardson called for public participation and no one <br /> responded. <br /> 6.9:20 A.M. DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING USE OF VETERANS CLUB <br /> PARK MAY OF 2019 - JAY VAVRICEK & MIKE PONTE—were present and noted the other <br /> members that were there. They are requesting to use the Veterans Park to display a replica of <br /> the wall that is in Washington DC this is a perfect location and time. It will be here May 22 to <br /> May 27, 2019. They will need volunteers and will have fund raising to help with the expenses. <br /> There will be security and also a Chaplin will travel with the wall and they call it the healing wall. <br /> There will be an opening ceremony and a closing ceremony. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve the use of the Veterans Park for the <br /> traveling Vietnam wall in May 2019. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, <br /> Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 7.9:30 A.M. BID OPENING FOR ADMINISTRATION BUILDING PARKING LOT—Quandt made <br /> a motion and Lancaster seconded to open the bids for the Administration Building parking lot. <br /> Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and <br /> none voted no. STEVE IRWIN WITH DESH PAINE MEMORIALS UPDATE AND POSSIBLE <br /> ACTION REGARDING GRAND ISLAND EAST CEMETERY - Bredthauer stated she talked to <br /> Steve Irwin with Desh Paine and he has volunteered to repair the stones at Grand Island East <br /> Cemetery. He distributed information from the sitting book from 1904 and gave a history of <br /> 3 <br />
