COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS — Lancaster stated that she felt Don Shuda was poorly represented regarding the issue with the interpreter office in the Annex building. There has been discussion moving other offices into that building. There will be signs directing people to that office. There are many other offices that have different waiting areas. Shuda stated that he cannot be the reception point for other offices. She noted that Mr. Shuda and the director of the VA helped a current resident of the Veterans Home secure a place in Grand Island so his wife would still be able to visit her husband and he would not have to be moved to the new facility. . Arnold noted that this area was originally the waiting are for the Sheriff, Jail and Police Department. All other offices share waiting areas and it is concerning that it cannot be shared in that building. He also noted the amount of space that he has for his offices. This building will have other offices. Richardson stated that there will be minimal traffic they will meet at the Courthouse this has been discussed and is a moot point. Quandt stated no one else wanted to move into that building. Bredthauer reported that there was change on the College Park Board Mark Spiehs is the new member. She also noted that the change on the wet lands was a good idea. NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS —Chair Richardson called for new or unfinished business and Bredthauer ask Mr. Riehle if the employee at Cairo has been replaced and she stated they are still in the interview process. Bredthauer ask about the road signs and Mr. Riehle stated they do not drive roads to check on signs they are addressed if they receive phone calls.
