They have had a line of credit in place since she came on the board. Schuppan was absent. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> #7 Continued discussions regarding the Humane Society. <br /> Emily Beck, Hastings, Nebraska stated that she has worked as a vet's assistant for 2 years and <br /> stated concern that the finances are a problem. She does the ordering and expressed concern <br /> that they did not have enough supplies to care for the dogs so she reached out to the vendors <br /> requesting donations of the flea and tick treatments for the animals. The vendors supplies <br /> about $13,000.00 worth of products and she did not receive any thanks from the board. The <br /> staff knows what they need to do every day and she cannot see the shelter closing. They need <br /> to work together and there needs to be some improvements. <br /> Chasity Cross Executive Director noted that the Humane Society is a non-profit company. The <br /> contract is important. They need to look at every program to be aware of what needs to be <br /> improved. They serve Hall County and the other villages they make sure that the officers are <br /> trained and make sure the reports are filed and animal care is important.
