Bredthauer made a motion and Lancaster seconded to make a recommendation to the Regional <br /> Planning commission to consider striking the net zero fill on the first Prairie Creek Meadows <br /> Subdivision <br /> Arnold sated that he is not anxious to change the first subdivision there needs to be rules and <br /> you need to follow the rules. <br /> Bredthauer expressed concern that there were 20 loads of dirt hauled in. The property owners <br /> may want to come back regarding the net zero fill. <br /> Mr. Dick Baasch stated that this is not in the flood plain and because it isn't they can bring in fill. <br /> Quandt expressed concern that they may have made a mistake on the first one and need to <br /> remove the restriction and need to consider striking the net zero fill. <br /> The vote on the request for a recommendation was taken. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, <br /> Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 11. DISCUSS &TAKE ACTION REGARDING GUIDANCE FOR APPROVING MIDLAND AREA <br /> AGENCY ON AGING BY-LAWS— Lancaster stated that the bylaws of MAAA are changing. <br /> The changes will address how the money that is received by the counties and how those dollars <br /> are spent. She questioned d if there is any objection to the changes. <br /> Quandt noted that if it is in the bylaws it will be required to follow them. <br /> 4. COUNTY ATTORNEY— EXECUTIVE SESSION PERSONNEL this is the same as the <br /> executive session listed under public works - Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to <br /> go into executive session. There are two reasons for an executive session to protect the public <br /> interest or to prevent needles harm or injury to an individual. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, <br /> Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 10:10 a.m. executive session <br /> 10:49 a.m. Lanfear made a motion and Arnold seconded to go out of executive session. <br /> Richardson sated that no other subjects were discussed, no votes were taken and no action <br /> was taken. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all <br /> voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried <br /> 10:50 A.M. Held a Board of Corrections meeting <br /> 11:15 a.m. Adjourned the Board of Corrections meeting and returned to the regular meeting. <br /> NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS — Chair Richardson called for new or unfinished business. <br /> Lancaster noted that the 150th flag that is in the board room is long past due and she would like <br /> to put the POW IA flag up in its place. She also ask if Bonnie could update the committee list <br /> with the recent changes and give it to the board members. . <br /> 6 <br />
