FACILITIES--C) DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING NOTIFICATION <br /> OF POTENTIAL BID OPENING FOR JANITORIAL SERVICES - Mr. Humphrey stated that the <br /> contract with Elite Janitorial will expire this year and they need to send notice to the current <br /> company terminate the agreement and notifying them that the county will be going out for bids. <br /> The square footage has changed and the county now has the Plaza Building and the Federal <br /> Building. County Attorney Sarah Carstensen clarified that this is a 60 day notice to terminate <br /> the contract June 30, 2018. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Lanfear seconded to send the 60 day notice to Elite Janitorial that <br /> the agreement will be terminated and the County will go out for bids. They will have the <br /> opportunity to bid again. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 9.9:50 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR PLATTE VALLEY <br /> COMMUNICATIONS — Lancaster made a motion and Quandt seconded to open the public <br /> hearing for Platte Valley Communications. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, <br /> Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Humphrey stated they did a site visit and it was in good condition and the committee <br /> recommended renewing the conditional use permit for 5 years. <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Lanfear seconded to close the public hearing. Arnold, <br /> Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 9 A. APPROVE RESOLUTION FOR RENEWAL OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR <br /> PLATTE VALLEY COMMUNICATIONS - Lancaster made a motion and Quandt seconded to <br /> approve Resolution #18-013 to renew the conditional use permit for Platte Valley <br /> Communications for 5 years. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 6 <br />
