The have limited space for <br /> the custodial supplies and it is better to extend this contract and it will be under$5,000 for the <br /> remainder of the fiscal year. <br /> Lanfear made emotion and Arnold seconded to approve the amendment and authorize the <br /> Chair to sign. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all <br /> voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> This agreement was drafted by Jack Zitterkopf. <br /> Bredthauer ask Loran if he could apply for a safety grant for the alternate fire exit. She noted <br /> that the city had applied for some funding. Loran noted that NIRMA has some grant dollar <br /> available and he could apply. <br /> 10. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING 2018 COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS <br /> Richardson stated that there are couple of minor changes the conditional use/zoning chair is <br /> Karen Bredthauer and the Emergency Management committee is to consist of the 2 supervisors <br /> and the chair of the county board. <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Arnold seconded to approve the 2018 committee assignments. <br /> Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and <br /> none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 11. UPDATE AND POSSIBLE ACTION CONCERNING EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO COUNTY <br /> BOARD - Lancaster made a motion and Arnold seconded to go into executive session regarding <br /> personnel. This executive session is to prevent needless harm to an individual and to protect <br /> the public interest. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan <br /> all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 11:17 A.M. executive session <br /> 11 38 a.m. Lanfear made a motion and Arnold seconded to go out of executive session. No <br /> other subjects were discussed no votes were taken and no action was taken. Arnold, <br /> Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Arnold made a motion and Lanfear seconded to have Bonnie Kosmicki start immediately at a <br /> prorated number of hours at an hourly rate and she will start full time on March 12, 2018. This <br /> will allow her to close out her position at the city. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, <br /> Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and Quandt voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Arnold made a motion and Lanfear seconded to extend her vacation to 3 weeks so they will add <br /> a week of paid vacation. It will be frozen until her years of service match the vacation accrual. <br /> Arnold, Bredthauer, Lanfear, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes. Lancaster and Quandt <br /> voted no. Motion carried <br /> COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS — Ms. Richardson noted that there will be an <br /> employee retirement for Jack Zitterkopf on February 6 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. <br /> Bredthauer stated she attended the College Park meeting. <br /> 6 <br />
