BID OPENING-NEBRASKA HISTORIC TAX CREDITS —Quandt made a motion and Schuppan seconded to open the bids for the tax credits. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Richardson was absent. Motion carried. The following bids were received. BIDDER PURCHASE PRICE David C Levy $30,772.50 or 75 cents per credit Omaha, NE Brown Family Trust $33,275.33 or 81.1% of the face value Central City, NE Quandt made a motion to accept the bids and refer to the facilities committee. Discussion was held and Quandt withdrew his motion. Discussion was held. Arnold made a motion and Quandt seconded to award the bids for the Nebraska Historic Tax Credits to Brown Family Trust at $33,275.33 or 81.1%. Chairman Lancaster called for a break until 10:30 a.m. for the Board of Corrections meeting. 10:30 a.m. Held a Board of Correction meeting. 10:35 a.m. Adjourned the Board of Corrections meeting and returned to the regular meeting. COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS — Lancaster reported that the audit committee met and they have a copy of the audit and will allow the departments to respond to the findings. She is asking that these be answered and returned by Friday. The talked to the County Attorney regarding the issue with the change orders and during any construction there will be weekly meetings so all change orders and contracts will be approved by the county board. This was a violation of the open meeting law and there will be a finding. Lancaster stated she will respond to this and send the information to Stacey for a corrective action plan. NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS - Chairman Lancaster called for new or unfinished business for the last meeting of 2017 and no one responded.
