B) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION CONCERNING THE WATER COOLER CONTRACT <br /> FOR THE VSO — Richardson stated that the committee is recommending to accept the proposal <br /> from Eco Water. <br /> Richardson made a motion and Lanfear seconded to accept the proposal from Eco Water and <br /> authorize the chair to sign. <br /> Discussion was held and this was not reviewed by the County Attorney. Quandt questioned if it <br /> is a month to month contract. <br /> Richardson withdrew her motion and Lanfear withdrew his second. <br /> Arnold made a motion and Quandt seconded to refer the proposal to the County Attorney to <br /> review. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted <br /> yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> C) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION CONCERNING THE CLEANING CONTRACT FOR <br /> THE FEDERAL BUILDING — Richardson noted the proposals and the committee recommends <br /> staying with Elite the current company and then going out for bids later. <br /> Schuppan made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to retain Elite for the cleaning of the <br /> Federal Building. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan <br /> all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> D) DISCUSSION & [POSSIBLE ACTION CONCERNING LETTER FROM HEALTH & HUMAN <br /> SERVICES - Mr. Humphrey stated that they received a letter from Health & Human Services <br /> regarding issues at the 116 South Pine building expressing concerns about ADA compliance. <br /> There were 29 staff in the building but now there are 19 and there are new people there. <br /> Quandt questioned if they are interested in the space at the Federal Building. Mr. Humphrey <br /> stated that he had talked to Gregg Hood with HHS and they would only use half of the floor but <br /> this may have changed now. He discussed this with the committee and would like to meet with <br /> HHS and then report back. <br /> COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER REPORTS — Richardson reported that the director of the <br /> Stuhr Foundation is resigning and they are starting a search for a new director. <br /> Bredthauer distributed information to the board members regarding space at the Federal <br /> Building noting the various cost and the total cost. She expressed concern on the fact the <br /> building is not occupied. There are currently only 8 people in the building and questioned if the <br /> rest of the County Attorney staff will be moving. She noted the parking issues down town. She <br /> noted that DHHS does work with the child support division. <br /> Lanfear noted the thank you card form the Crisis Center for the donation of pillows, blankets and <br /> stuffed animals drive from the county employees. <br /> Lancaster reminded the board members to put the performance evaluations on Stacy's desk. <br /> 7 <br />
