10:30 a.m. Held a Board of Corrections meeting. <br /> 10:49 a.m. Adjourned the Board of Corrections meeting and returned to the regular meeting. <br /> NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS -•Vice Chairman Richardson called for new or unfinished <br /> business. Lanfear stated the board needs to address a replacement for Stacey. Discussion <br /> was held and this will be referred to the personnel committee and come back at the November <br /> 28th meeting with a recommendation. <br /> Schuppan stated that they will also need to address a replacement for Casey Sherlock as <br /> County Surveyor. He stated that there are some items that need to be addressed and state <br /> statutes to follow. He stated he will meet with County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf to go over the <br /> issues and how it will need to be advertised. The public works committee will need to meet. <br /> Arnold expressed concern about the salary for the surveyor and the engineer. He questioned if <br /> they could amend the salary resolution. Stacey Ruzicka stated that the resolution cannot be <br /> amended because it is for the new term starting in 2019. Schuppan stated they need to make <br /> sure this is done correctly. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 10:52 a.m. the next meeting will be November 28, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. <br /> tr <br /> Marl- .
