Introduce yourself and tell us a little about yourself? <br /> Bailey Gibson <br /> 4239 Kay Avenue <br /> Grand Island, NE <br /> She currently works in the GIS Department in Hall County and her husband works at Northwest <br /> High School prior to Hall County she worked as a technology assistant Grand Island Public <br /> Schools and as a tax processor for McDermott & Miller at the tax office thee were strict <br /> deadlines and a lot of pressure and with the school system she worked with people in a wide <br /> variety of professional levels <br /> 2. Why are you interested in this position? <br /> She found it interesting to see how people want change with government it is an important <br /> process that is in place and she would be able to serve the public well with her personal and <br /> professional skills and wants to continue the work that is in place <br /> 3. Tell us about your management experience and experience in working with the public <br /> She work in a 2 or 3 person office with different department and other outside entities she was <br /> in charge and the work had to be done in a timely manner at the school system she manage the <br /> work and delegated work as needed and use that person strengths to get the project done to <br /> the best of their ability and in college she worked in the admission office and on the leadership <br /> board and was required to organize e vents recruit volunteers for service project and sat on <br /> panels with the administration office. She works with the public all the time doing research for <br /> the school system, students and answer questions and helping point students in the right <br /> direction <br /> 4. How would you describe your work skills and specifically to attention to detail? <br /> She is accurate and detail oriented in the tax office the information had to be correct and some <br /> information was confidential <br /> 5. What are your expectations of being the Hall County Election Commissioner? <br /> There are various types of work and you have to handle the busy time and get all of the work <br /> done and also be prepared for the busy time the work has to be accurate times when it is hard <br /> to get it all done she has worked with the election office and created a program that can cross <br /> index information to make sure that it is accurate and make sure people get the right information <br /> to vote on <br /> 6. Do you have any previous experience with elections? <br /> She had helped the election office created a report regarding corrections that had to be made <br /> and checking signatures on petitions and correcting information <br /> 7. Give us an example of a previous work salutation where you were under a great deal of <br /> pressure and how did you respond? Currently she has to deal with the public and they may be <br /> 11 <br />
