Lancaster stated that she is at a loss for words she anticipated that he would not run for the <br /> position that is the only thing that makes it less of a total shock. She noted that Jack and <br /> Stacey have the most difficult positons working for the 7 board members. She stated she <br /> appreciates his professionalism and friendship. <br /> Richardson thanked Jack for his services and stated she has enjoyed working with him. His <br /> professionalism will be greatly missed. <br /> Arnold noted the February 13th date and Jack stated he would be Medicare eligible on that date. <br /> Will still leave time to appoint someone and they will be able to run for the seat. Lancaster they <br /> need to check this out. <br /> The Board would have to make an appointment and he questioned if they would have time to <br /> file for election. Jack stated he thinks they will get a number of candidates and he hopes they <br /> know what they are getting into. Incumbents have to file by February 15, 2018. Non incumbents <br /> have to file by March 1st. <br /> 14. EXECUTIVE SESSION — PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS Lanfear made a motion and <br /> Richardson seconded to go into executive session regarding the performance evaluation. This <br /> executive session is to prevent needless harm or injury to an individual. Arnold, Bredthauer, <br /> Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 11:14 a.m. executive session <br /> 11:18 a.m. Arnold made a motion and Lanfear seconded to 9 o out of executives session. No <br /> other subjects were discussed, no votes were taken and no action was taken. Arnold, <br /> Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Lanfear made a motion and Richardson seconded to refer this to the personnel committee and <br /> present the evaluation to the employee. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, <br /> Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Lancaster recessed the meeting at 11:20 a.m. and they will return to session for the interviews <br /> at 1:00 p.m. there are two candidates for the interviews for the assessor/register of deeds. <br /> 1:00 p.m. Lancaster called the meeting back to order. She stated she will ask the questions and <br /> if the board has any additional questions they can ask, but Stacey reminded the board that if <br /> they ask a question of one candidate they need to make sure they ask the same question of the <br /> other candidates <br /> Jody Sanchez <br /> #1 Introduce yourself and tell us a little about yourself? <br /> Jody Sanchez stated she is a lifetime resident of Grand Island and graduated from Grand Island <br /> Senior High and attended UNL for 1 1/Y year and left to take care of her mother. <br /> She started working at Pumpers enjoyed working with the public <br /> 9 <br />
