Schuppan amended his motion and Arnold seconded the motion to include all of the properties <br /> unless some are rented. To declare this an emergency and authorize Rob Schultz to spray the <br /> noxious weeds. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all <br /> voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 10:45 a.m. Held a Board of Corrections meeting <br /> 10:56 a.m. Returned to the regular meeting <br /> 9. FACILITIES AGENDA <br /> (A) FEDERAL BUILDING UPDATE— Richardson stated that the demolition at the Federal <br /> Building is completed. They are putting up the walls and the plumber has done in some ruff in <br /> work. The electrical work has started and everything is on schedule and moving forward. She <br /> called for questions and no one responded. <br /> (B) DISCUSS AND TAKE ACTION ON DOG WALKING FUND RAISING EVENT TO TAKE <br /> PLACE AT HALL COUNTY PARK SEPTEMBER 30, 2017—This is a fund raiser for the <br /> Humane Society and they will clean up after the walk. The committee recommended approving <br /> this. <br /> Schuppan made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the use of the Hall County Park for <br /> the dog walking fund raiser for the Humane Society. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, <br /> Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS —Chairman Lancaster called for board <br /> member's report. <br /> Quandt reported that he had an opportunity to attend the testing for the deputies and it is quite a <br /> process out of 17 15 moved forward and 6 will be selected. <br /> Lanfear reported that there was a deputy that resigned and then changed his mind and was <br /> hired back. He had received all of the training. <br /> Richardson reminded the board members that the joint Health Department meeting will be July <br /> 10, at 6:00 for the county board. Discussion was held on the location. <br /> Lancaster stated that there 2 very nice articles in the newspaper recently about Karen and Dale <br /> and Denise. She stated that she has also been checking the mail since Stacey is gone. She <br /> also noted a letter from the State Tax Commissioner regarding the keno audit and that it was <br /> found in compliance with the state statutes. They commended Stacey on her compliance and <br /> thanked her for her help and cooperation. <br /> NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS —Chairman Lancaster called for new or unfinished <br /> business and no one responded.
