( cr'e+�itty BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF HALL,NEBRASKA, AND SENIOR CITIZENS INDUSTRIES, INC.,OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA This AGREEMENT made and entered into by and between the County of Hall,Nebraska, a body politic and corporate, hereinafter referred to as "County",and Senior Citizens Industries, Inc. of Grand Island,Nebraska, hereinafter referred to as"Industries", WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, County,through subcontract agreements with Industries, has provided transportation services within Hall County,Nebraska, under and pursuant to agreements between County and the State of Nebraska Department of Roads as authorized by the Nebraska Public Transportation Act,Neb. Rev. State. Sec. 13-1201 through 113-1212,and the Federal Transit Act;and WHEREAS, the continuation of transportation services by County through subcontract agreements with Industries is beneficial to the inhabitants of the County of Hall. NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, County and Industries agree as follows: Section 1.Scope of Project. County, subject to approval by the State of Nebraska Department of Roads,does hereby appoint Industries as County's subcontractor under and in accordance with the "Agreement between Hall County and the State of Nebraska Department of Roads for providing Partial Funds of a Public Transportation System" for the period July 1,2017 through June 30,2018. Industries shall undertake and shall provide public transportation within the County of Hall in accordance with the applications for such funds,which applications shall be prepared by Industries and approved by County,the "Agreement between Hall County and the State of Nebraska Department of Roads for Providing Partial Funds of a Public Transportation System," and any such subsequent agreements, and in accordance with this agreement. Section 2. Project Assets and Equipment. Upon termination of this subcontract agreement, all assets and equipment purchased by Industries using funding provided pursuant to this agreement or prior agreements of the parties shall revert to the County of Hall with the exception of all buses which are purchased using funds provided through 49 U.S.C. Section 5311,which shall revert to the Nebraska Department of Roads for disposal unless County provides such transportation services directly or enters into a subcontract agreement with another subcontractor.
