Richardson stated that regarding the asbestos removal at the Federal Building it appears that Environmental Direct was the low bid and that will lower the cost estimate. She also stated that they have 2 other bids on a similar used phone system for the Federal Building they were not the same but BTS is still the low bid with labor included at $5,500.00 Arnold noted that it is important to have the quotes according to the county purchasing act. You can be more restrictive but not less restrictive you need competitive quotes. Discussion was held and Lancaster expressed concern that the quotes should come back to the board for approval.
