INSURANCE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION REGARDING ADMINISTRATIVE GUIDELINES -The insurance committee met several times to address the administrative guide lines. It was also reviewed by Phillip Erb and he agreed with the policy. This will be provided to the employees to help make them aware of the process. The committee will also set up meetings for the employees to go over the renewal forms and the renewal process and answer any questions that they might have. It is due in March. There are no negative issues. Josh Vollmer is present if there are any questions. Chairman Lancaster called for public participation. Josh Vollmer stated that Mid Nebraska used the plant site for work on the interstate, Highway #30 and Highway 281. The plant has been there for a number of years and they provide sand and aggregate for the plant. It is a good location for a plant site. He also noted that with the new technology they do contain a lot of emissions from the plant. The plant is used only when they have projects. Lancaster called for public participation and Casey Sherlock stated that this is a state highway and if there are concerns on the turning lanes they could be forwarded to the Nebraska Department of Road Wes Walgren.
