Quandt made a motion and Lanfear seconded to refer the bids to the computer committee. Motion carried. <br /> 9. 10:15 AM -- BID OPENING — REPLACEMENT OF BATTERIES FOR THREE <br /> UNINTERRUPTABLE POWER SUPPLY UNITS AT THE HALL COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF <br /> CORRECTIONS —Quandt made a motion and Richardson seconded to open the bids for the <br /> uninterruptable power supply units. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, <br /> Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Bahensky stated that there are 3 battery units that will provide the gap if they were to lose <br /> power. The batteries expire after 3 years and they all need to be replaced. There is money in <br /> the equipment improvement reserve fund so he requested bids. Mr. Bahensky <br /> stated that they are not a sole source provider, He will stagger the replacement of the batteries <br /> in the future. <br /> The vote on the motion was taken. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, <br /> Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no.
