HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING SEPTEMBER 6, 2016 <br /> The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened September 6, 2016 by published call in the <br /> County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER -The meeting was called to order by Chairman Arnold <br /> INVOCATION- Invocation was given by Chairman Scott Arnold. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Pam Lancaster, Doug Lanfear, Dan Purdy, <br /> Gary Quandt and Jane Richardson and Steve Schuppan. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW—Chairman Arnold read the notice of open meeting law. <br /> VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION —Affidavit was published but not received because of <br /> holiday mail service. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME — Chairman Arnold asked if anyone would like to reserve time <br /> to address a specific agenda item <br /> RECOGNITION OF COUNTY EMPLOYEE FOR MILITARY SERVICE—Jane Richardson read <br /> the certificate of recognition for Ken Luth. He is an employee of the Hall County Corrections <br /> Department. Mr. Luth stated he served 10 years in the Air Force and was in Europe and South <br /> America and 4 years in the Army. Todd stated he is a good solid employee and has been with <br /> the Corrections Department 61/2 years. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA— Purdy made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the following by <br /> consent agenda. <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes from the August 23, 2016 meeting <br /> 2. 9a) Approve Resolution #16-061 establishing one-way traffic on Husker Highway from % <br /> mile west of 90th Road to Alda Road during Husker Harvest Days <br /> 3. 9b) Approve Resolution #16-062 restricting access to Husker Highway from <br /> Schauppsville Road to US Highway 30 during Husker Harvest Days <br /> 4. 9c) Approve Resolution#16-063 for stop control on Stolley Park Road at 90th Road for <br /> Husker Harvest Days <br /> 5. 9d) Approve Resolution#16-064 amending the 2016-2017 One Year Road Program this <br /> is to add the asphalt projects to the 1 & 6 Road Program and for the new overlays for the <br /> Capital Avenue improvement plan and the 110th Road is for grading Casey Sherlock <br /> stated that they viewed the site and to improve safety they are changing the approach <br /> they will do the work and be reimbursed by the State of Nebraska <br /> 1 <br />
