FACILITIES AGENDA—A) CONSTRUCTION UPDATE— Mr. Humphrey stated that the first <br /> floor restrooms at the Courthouse should be completed this week and the tile in the entryway <br /> will be installed. They should be able to balance the air-conditioning by the middle of August. <br /> They are starting the final phase at the Office building and are moving some offices. <br /> They were to meet with Jerry Berggren but he was hospitalized. They talked to Marvin Webb <br /> and he is continuing to work on the layout for the child support office. <br /> Arnold stated he was in Judge Luther's court room and it is beautiful. He stated Angie did a <br /> great job on the monitors that come out of the knee wall. <br /> B) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION FOR ADDITIONAL COURTHOUSE REMODEL— Mr. <br /> Humphrey distributed a spread sheet on the quotes on the third floor balcony. This is all outside <br /> of the contract and there are no engineer fees. This will complete the building. <br /> O'Neill asbestos removal $ 6,300.00 <br /> Mid Plains 3rd flooring $14,235.00 <br /> Total $20,535.00 <br /> Repair stairs and treads <br /> O'Neill asbestos removal $ 2,600.00 <br /> Mid Plains level stairs $11,990.00 <br /> Ziller tile no bid <br /> Steffen Flooring no bid <br /> O'Neill elevator lobby asbestos $4,500.00 <br /> Discussion was held and the board requested more information for the repairs to the stairs and <br /> the stair treads. <br /> Total Cleaning of Courthouse <br /> Mid Plains $4,535.00 <br /> O'Neill Transportation $4,700.00 <br /> He provided information regarding the carpet replacement but this will have to go out for bids. <br /> Fire alarms on third floor and attic upgrade the total bid was $8,653.00. <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Richardson seconded to move forward with the fire alarms for <br /> $8,653.00. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, and Richardson all voted yes and none voted <br /> no. Purdy and Schuppan were absent. Motion carried. <br /> C) Added 7/25/2016 8:35 a.m. DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION OF CHANGE ORDER#18 <br /> Lanfear stated that this had been discussed before. Lanfear made a motion and Richardson <br /> seconded to approve change order#18 to enclose the exposed pipes. Arnold, Lancaster, <br /> Lanfear, Quandt, and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Purdy and Schuppan were <br /> absent. Motion carried. <br /> 4 <br />
