DISCUSS AND APPROVE RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING MAY 1-7, 2016 TO BE HALL <br /> COUNTY TOURISM WEEK - County Clerk Marla Conley read Resolution#16-033 proclaiming <br /> May 1 — 17, 2016 to be Hall County Tourism Week. <br /> Brad Mellema stated that his staff members, Liz Gerberding, Paul Nielsen and Diane Willey <br /> Board Chair were here but had to leave and also Trish Beem that was unable to be here. He <br /> stated that there is a lot going on and he stated there has been an increase in hotel <br /> occupancies. He also noted the new businesses, new eateries and the new airport terminal is a <br /> welcome mat to the community. He distributed the Vibe to the board members and noted the <br /> map of Fanner Park and the City map. These are distributed to various locations in the <br /> community and will be included in the Grand Island Independent.
