9:10 A.M. Held a Board of Equalization meeting <br /> 9:39 a.m. Adjourned the Board of Equalization and returned to the regular meeting. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION —Chairman Arnold called for public participation and Lancaster <br /> stated she would like to introduce Mr. Alan Pickrel the new Hall County Building Inspector. Mr. <br /> Pickrel stated they are moving forward and he is going through the codes and will actively meet <br /> with all of the city and village boards. The villages have chosen a representative to be on the <br /> board. He wants be meeting with Craig Lewis regarding the building codes. Once the codes <br /> are decided he will come to the county board to implement the codes. He stated he now has a <br /> phone and an e mail address. <br /> Quandt expressed concern on the zoning permits that have been issued and if they will meet <br /> the codes. He asked how the codes compared to the codes in Columbus and Mr. Pickrel stated <br /> Columbus is stricter on the commercial codes. <br /> Arnold noted that there was discussion at what point they would have to apply for a building <br /> permit if they already have a zoning permit. Mr. Pickrel stated once the codes are in place that <br /> will be addressed and they may go with the codes in Grand Island but some may not apply. <br /> 5. COUNTY ATTORNEY- EXECUTIVE SESSION/ STRATEGY WITH RESPECT TO REAL <br /> ESTATE SALE/PURCHASE—Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go into <br /> executive session regarding real estate sale/ purchase. This executive session is to protect the <br /> public interest. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted <br /> yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> County Attorney Zitterkopf requested that Mr. Sherlock be included in the executive session. <br /> 9:48 a.m. executive session <br /> 10:00 a.m. Quandt made a motion and Richardson seconded to go out of executive session. <br /> Chairman Arnold stated that no other subjects were discussed, no votes were taken and no <br /> action was taken. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all <br /> voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 10.10:00 A.M.
