9:10 a.m. Held a Board of Equalization meeting <br /> 10:24 a.m. Adjourned the Board of Equalization meeting and returned to the regular meeting. <br /> 8.10:15 A.M. PUBLIC WORKS— BID OPENING 2015 2016 ASPHALTIC CONCRETE <br /> RESURFACING PHASE 2—Casey Sherlock was present and provided copies of the affidavit of <br /> publication. The following bids were received: <br /> BIDDER BID BOND TOTAL BID <br /> Gary Smith Construction Bid Bond enclosed $568,836.00 <br /> J.I,L. Asphalt Paving Bid Bond enclosed $624,452.50 <br /> Vontz Paving Bid Bond enclosed $626,884.10 <br /> Quandt made a motion and Richardson seconded to refer the bids to the public works <br /> committee and they will review and come back with a recommendation today. Arnold, <br /> Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 8.10:30 A.M. BID OPENING FOR 1 NEW 2016 MODEL YEAR STEEL DRUM UTILITY <br /> ROLLER - Casey Sherlock distributed copies of the affidavit of publication. The following bids <br /> were received: <br /> BIDDER BID BOND MAKE & MODEL BASE BID <br /> NMC Bid Bond 2016 Caterpillar CB14B $28,712.00 <br /> Road Builders Bid Bond 2016 Volvo DD15 $31,395.00 <br /> Murphy Tractor Bid Bond 2016 Hamm HD10C W $32,900.00 <br /> Schuppan made a motion and Lanfear seconded to refer the bids to the public works committee <br /> and they will come back with a recommendation today. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, <br /> Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Casey noted that the apparent low bidder is NMC and there is also credit on the account of <br /> $163,000.00 at NMC from a trade in so they could use some of that credit to purchase this. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION —Chairman Arnold called for public participation and no one <br /> responded. <br /> 11. DISCUSS AND APPROVE SETTING SPECIAL BOARD MEETING REGARDING THE <br /> FEDERAL BUILDING - Richardson stated that she received an e mail from her contact Joseph <br /> Potter that they will not be able to meet on April 13`h but the lease can be executed by mail. <br /> Mr. Zitterkopf stated that because they are leasing back a portion of the building to the IRS he is <br /> trying to establish a SAM account. He has spent all of Thursday afternoon and Monday trying to <br /> set this up and has had exchanges with customer service with the federal government. <br /> Discussion was held to add this as an emergency item to the agenda. Mr. Zitterkopf stated that <br /> it would be appropriate to add this to the agenda because it has to be signed and sent back by <br /> 2 <br />
