Total purchase would be $338,843.00 and Casey stated he budgeted $350,000.00. <br /> Schuppan made a motion and Purdy seconded to purchase the 43,000 loader from Road <br /> Builders for$172,293.00 and the 29,000 loader from Murphy Tractor for $166,550.00. Arnold, <br /> Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Richardson <br /> was absent. Motion carried. <br /> 8. DISCUSS & RATIFY LOCAL DISASTER DECLARATION FOR HALL COUNTY <br /> Arnold stated that he was contacted last week to sign the declaration to give the city some <br /> assistance with the snow removal. It was a unique storm and he wants to give Casey credit and <br /> part of this is because the county has good quality equipment. He pulled in 10 motor graders to <br /> help with the snow removal. The city does not have the need for these types of machines and <br /> their equipment is older. The county has the equipment and the manpower. <br /> Mr. Zitterkopf stated do not forget to thank the operators they plowed 8 hours on Wednesday <br /> and another 6 on the city streets. Casey stated he has the best employees and operators. <br /> Quandt asked if they are continuing to work on the city streets and Casey stated they are using <br /> his side dump to haul the snow out of town. It is difficult to use the large machines on the city <br /> streets because of the parked cars. His graders will peal the packed snow off of the streets. <br /> Purdy made a motion and Schuppan seconded to ratify the disaster declaration for Hall County. <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. <br /> Richardson was absent. Motion carried. <br /> Casey stated that they were able to get to the rural roads done because of the good equipment. <br /> 9:35 A.M. Held a Board of Corrections meeting <br /> 10:03 a.m. Adjourned the Board of Corrections meeting and returned to the regular meeting. <br /> 9. DISCUSS & APPROVE RESOLUTION AMENDING THE PETTY CASH FUND FOR HALL <br /> COUNTY COURT— Stacey Ruzicka stated that when the budget is sent in to the state auditor <br /> there is a list of the petty cash funds and the petty cash fund for Hall County Court was larger in <br /> 2014 at $1,200.00. County Court returned $375.00 to the County Treasurer so the petty cash <br /> fund is $825.00 and they did not notify the county. The state auditor found the difference and <br /> County Court has now requested the resolution be amended. . <br /> Purdy made a motion and Lanfear seconded to approve Resolution #16-007 amending the petty <br /> cash fund for Hall County Court. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt and Schuppan all <br /> voted yes and none voted no. Richardson was absent. Motion carried. <br /> 4 <br />
