Arnold stated that if there are changes that need to be made on the committees to let him know <br /> by Friday. <br /> BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT— Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka updated the board <br /> members on the scheduled meetings and reminded the board that there will be 3 union <br /> contracts that will be up this June and that will be need to be addressed. <br /> Mr. Arnold stated that the Department of Environmental Quality will need appointment to a <br /> committee but there are residential requirements. Mr. Purdy would qualify. <br /> Quandt asked if the candidates that will be moving forward would be public information. <br /> Lanfear questioned the salary for the corrections director. <br /> Lancaster stated this was discussed but when the survey was done it was not a Board of <br /> Corrections it was the second person in the Sheriff's Department. The current salary would be <br /> the median but they would need to look at a range. This would need to be an agenda item. <br /> 20. FACILITIES MEETING <br /> A) CONSTRUCTION UPDATES (LANFEAR) <br /> Mr. Humphrey stated that the Office Building remodeling is progressing and they will be moving <br /> juvenile diversion this week. They are finishing up the carpet and sinks and the locks have <br /> been changed. He is getting quotes on the public defender's area. They will be moving people <br /> around to start that work. <br /> The Courthouse HVAC will have water to the air handlers and will start operation on the new <br /> system on the 20th. The restroom on the second floor will be done by February. <br /> They are building the bulk heads in the court room and have found someone to do the plaster <br /> work. They also found that after the TSP wash there are only 2 colors on the ceiling. Schuppan <br /> stated that is will look nice when it is done. Mr. Humphrey stated that they also found that some <br /> of the old lights still work. <br /> He also reported that they have the flag pole up in front of the Veteran's Service Office. <br /> Lancaster asked if they could have the final cost of the juvenile diversion project and she would <br /> like the total cost of the Plaza Building renovations. An unfunded mandate caused the county to <br /> purchase a building for probation.
